OHA Prepares New Sports History Exhibit at Marriott Syracuse Downtown New Restaurant, Shaughnessy’s



Shaughnessy'sAs crews work tirelessly on the Marriott Syracuse Downtown‘s newest restaurant, Shaughnessy’s , Onondaga Historical Association (OHA) is working hard on its contribution to the project – an exhibit on the area’s rich sports history.

Set to open later this month (May), Shaughnessy’s will be an Irish pub in the hotel’s lower level and is named after the Mr. Ed Riley’s first dog, an Irish Setter.

The exhibit will feature items from OHA’s collection including clothing, photos, and objects from Central High School and other area high schools along with memorabilia from local professional teams such as the Syracuse Chiefs, Blazers, and Crunch.
