Jon Zella is a Long Island native with a Bachelor’s (2012) and Master’s (2014) degree in history from SUNY Oswego. His previous experience includes Fort Ontario State Historic Site, Safe Haven Museum and Education Center, the Shineman Foundation, and SUNY Oswego’s Civic Engagement Department. While in graduate school, Jon interned at OHA in the collections management department and later in development. He was hired in June of 2014 and currently serves as Development Officer and Digital Content Manager, helping the organization raise money and awareness in the community and online, through events, programs, and tours.
Hobbies include travel, hockey, playing drums, writing for Islanders Insight, mountain biking, and his puppy Olive.
