Sarah Shute was born and raised in LaFayette, NY. She is the Director of the Skä•noñh–Great Law of Peace Center. Sarah comes to the Center with an academic and professional background in environmental science and conservation biology. Sarah has worked with rare and endangered species throughout the eastern US, with much of her work focused on turtle conservation. Sarah believes that traditional Haudenosaunee knowledge of the environment and philosophies of sustainability and living in balance with the natural world, as presented at the Skä•noñh Center, will inspire all those that walk through its doors to make better decisions for a shared future.
