SUMMARY:Gustav Stickley House Foundation Summer Garden Party & Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Join us on August 28th from 2-5pm at the Historic Pump House in Skaneateles\, NY for this inaugural event to benefit the Gustav Stickley House Foundation\, supporting the restoration of Gustav Stickley’s Syracuse home at 438 Columbus Avenue. Learn about the exciting plans for the project\, the future of this important Central New York structure\, and its unique legacy in The Arts & Crafts Movement. The great grand children of Gustav Stickley will serve as our hosts for this event at their cherished summer home\, the same home where Gustav spent many visits with his children and grandchildren. The Pump House (circa 1890) was the original pumping station for the Syracuse water supply.  It became a family summer home in the 1930’s and continues as a cherished retreat today.  The home contains numerous Gustav Stickley furnishings and other family memorabilia.  Free street parking is available along E. Lake Road.  Shuttle carts will operate from the East Lake Road entrance of Bobbett Lane down to the Pump House property. \n\n\n\nTickets: All tickets will include hors d’oeuvres\, beverages – including wine & beer samplings –  and tours of the historic Pump House.  This is a Rain or Shine event. \nIndividual: $100 \nPatron: $250 (entry for two) \nSponsor: $500 (entry for two\, including a shoreline cruise for two*) \nBenefactor: $1\,000 (entry for four\, including a shoreline cruise for four*) \nSponsor and Benefactor levels will receive acknowledgement at the event and in all related materials\, as well as ongoing recognition on the Foundation website. \nShoreline Cruise: Mid-Lakes Navigation has graciously offered sightseeing cruise passes to the Sponsor and Benefactor level ticket holders!
