OHA’s History Highlights Now Available in Wegmans and Tops

Same mission. New look.

History Highlights magazine has gone through a fresh facelift. The redesign is accented by a new size, more pages, new typefaces, updated design.  Most importantly, it is a showcase for OHA to tell the stories of Onondaga County’s past. The redesign was done by OHA board member Tim Atseff, who volunteered to refresh the magazine. Atseff was a former editor at the Herald-Journal and Post Standard as well as was the creator and editor of Central New York Magazine, Central New York Business Exchange Magazine, and Central New York Sports Magazine.

History Highlights began as an exclusive member benefit 10 years ago as a four-page newsletter and has grown to include more local content, organizational updates, events, educational programming, and exhibit announcements. Today, the glossy magazine can be found for sale, not only at OHA’s gift shop, but on magazine racks at Wegman’s and Tops Markets for the general public.

However, the best value is to become a member of the Onondaga Historical Association or renew as a member to ensure that you receive the magazine twice-a-year as membership benefit.  In turn, you will be  supporting the important mission of the OHA to preserve our past to form a brighter future for our community.
