Historic Ghostwalks take place twice a year in neighborhoods, buildings, and cemeteries, where actors in costume portray individuals from Onondaga County’s past. These “ghosts” tell their stories to our guests, shedding some light onto the people of our past. Each edition is unique, featuring new spirits and different tales of lives lived and lost in the Salt City.
Hotel Syracuse Tours are our bimonthly tours at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown, once known as the “Hotel Syracuse.” The tours stop at many locations throughout the hotel, including its lobby, ballroom, and suites, telling stories that took place in the hotel and pointing out features that have been preserved through the decades.
