Tom was employed by OHA in 1989. Previously, he was the curator at the Cayuga Museum in Auburn and also served as the interim director of OHA in late 1991, 2002-2003, and again from July 2006 – February 2008. He has a Masters degree in History from SUNY Cortland.

Today, Tom serves as the Curator of Museum Collections and is responsible for OHA’s three-dimensional collections, including their registration, cataloging, storage, loan, conservation, and research. He and Dennis are also responsible for exhibitions at the Onondaga Historical Museum as well as off-site exhibits around Onondaga County. Tom also writes articles for CNY Magazine and CNY Business Exchange, and OHA’s magazine History Highlights.
