Franklin Square Walking Tour with Dennis Connors

Today, Franklin Square is an exciting district of loft apartments, breathtaking condominiums and state-of-the-art office headquarters.  But 100 years ago, its historic buildings housed a diverse array of local manufacturing firms.  They produced products that ranged from railroad car windows and forging hammers to knitted underwear.  Dennis Connors, OHA’s history curator, will lead participants in an informative stroll through this once fascinating enclave of industrial architecture and innovation, including a stop inside a renovated structure.
