We’re proud to announce that this year’s Our Glorious Workplaces event will take place at Beak and Skiff Apple Orchards on Thursday, August 24th!

At this event, you’ll enjoy a special Beak and Skiff experience including a tour of the Apple Hill Campus, a unique dinner and dessert menu and tour, and a presentation from OHA Curator of History, Dennis Connors.

OHA’s Our Glorious Workplaces event showcases and honors how organizations create and deliver their products or services while emphasizing their historic impact upon the larger community. We collaborate with a new company each year and a celebration is held right at their place of business. Proceeds from the cocktail reception and elegant dinner support all of OHA’s endeavors and ensures its ability to continue to play a role in creating pride in our community.

Throughout the 20^th and into the 21^st century, Beak and Skiff Apple Orchard‘s ambitious and innovative approach helped them grow and expand, leading to their nomination as the best apple orchard in the United States as part of a 2015 USA Today Poll. From Controlled Atmosphere storage rooms to the use of wind machines to move cold air away from the delicate apple blossoms, Beak and Skiff has lead the way in the apple business, all while keeping the it within the family, which is now in its 5^th generation of management.
