Historic Bus Tour of Rochester
August 12 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
Join us and the Erie Canal Museum for a special day-long historic bus tour of Rochester this summer! This guided trip offers a deep dive into Rochester’s past, with meaningful connections to the Erie Canal, Syracuse, and some of the most influential figures in American history.
Trip Highlights:
Our chartered bus will depart from the Erie Canal Museum and head first to Mount Hope Cemetery, where guests will enjoy a guided tour featuring the final resting places of Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony, along with lesser-known individuals connected to the Erie Canal and Central New York.
All participants will receive a boxed lunch which can be enjoyed between stops.
In the afternoon, the group will tour Susan B. Anthony’s home, where she lived for the last 40 years of her life, followed by a walking tour of the surrounding historic neighborhood.
